As
a teenager I began working in the sports industry and
over successive years learned how to compete in and
coach swimming, diving and trampoline.
Then I took up Judo in which I attained a black belt
fairly quickly and went on to represent Great Britain in

only fitter and trimmer, but I was competing and winning
events. So much so that I qualified for the World
Masters Games in Buffalo, New York at which I managed to
win the bronze medal.
At
the next World Masters, two years later, I got the
silver medal and two years after that I got the
gold!
All this following ten years with no exercise
whatsoever!
Then I learned that a World Masters Judo event was to be
held in Japan at a dojo where women were not usually
allowed to enter. It was a whole new challenge and
required a completely different fitness routine. Over
the next few years I trained for this event, qualified,
attended and obtained the silver medal. At each of the
next two World Masters events I got the gold medal.

re-entered the fitness industry and re-trained to extend
my skills in Sports Therapy and Premier fitness
training.
